At the Women in Business Awards hosted by the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, Daniela Schardinger, CEO & Founder of ELAFY Consulting, was honored with the Visionary Award, alongside receiving Certificates of Recognition from the California State Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the County of Orange.
The recognition marks not only a personal milestone, but also a broader acknowledgment of the growing importance of women’s health and innovation on a global stage.
Originally from a small town in Austria, Daniela built her career across Europe before moving to the United States — a country she describes as one defined by opportunity, ambition, and the willingness to support bold ideas.
“This recognition is incredibly meaningful,” she reflects. “Not just on a personal level, but because it highlights the importance of advancing women’s health and supporting innovators working to create real impact.”

The award also underscores the role of communities and institutions that help elevate important conversations. Leaders such as Senator Catherine Blakespear, Congresswoman Young Kim, and Chairman Don Wagner, alongside the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, have played a key role in providing a platform for women in business and healthcare innovation.
With continued momentum in women’s health, innovation, and global collaboration, this recognition serves as a reminder of both how far the field has come — and how much opportunity still lies ahead.
