Daniela Schardinger is a healthcare innovation strategist working at the intersection of MedTech, biotechnology, and global innovation ecosystems. As the Founder of ELAFY Consulting, she advises startups, companies, and organizations bringing transformative technologies to market — with deep expertise in healthcare innovation and women’s health.
Originally from Austria and now based in California, Daniela has built an international career across Europe, Israel, and the United States, combining entrepreneurial leadership with strategic advisory. She built and led a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland and co-founded a MedTech therapeutics company based in Israel, gaining firsthand experience in developing, scaling, and positioning healthcare ventures.
Through her advisory work, Daniela has supported the launch and positioning of medical technologies across more than 30 global markets, working closely with founders, investors, and healthcare leaders to bring innovative solutions to patients worldwide. She advises on fundraising strategy, investor positioning, and strategic licensing and deal negotiations, helping companies communicate complex technologies and unlock growth opportunities.

The most meaningful innovations are not just created — they are supported, championed, and brought into the world to create real impact.
Her work spans strategic marketing, scientific storytelling, global market entry, medical education, and policy engagement, often acting as an embedded strategic partner to the teams she supports — bridging innovation, markets, and the broader ecosystem required to scale impactful technologies.
Daniela has also played a role in elevating companies within the global innovation landscape — supporting startups in gaining industry recognition, securing awards, and achieving visibility across leading platforms, including contributing to companies being named Technology Pioneers by the World Economic Forum.
Beyond her advisory work, Daniela is an active contributor to global conversations shaping the future of healthcare and technology. She is engaged in international innovation ecosystems, including the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer community and Global Women’s Health Alliance, and serves on the Innovation Equity Forum (IEF) Steering Committee — a joint initiative of the NIH and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Her insights and work have been featured in and contributed to platforms such as Forbes Business Council, Entrepreneur, Health Tech World, and FemTech World, where she advocates for a broader, more inclusive approach to healthcare innovation.
Daniela’s work is driven by a commitment to supporting innovators who are solving real-world challenges, expanding access to healthcare technologies, and advancing a more holistic and equitable approach to global health.
